The System

Sounds a bit Matix-esque. But it's the world we live in. Whether that world is real or part of a complex interconnected computer network it is all a carefully controlled system. Laws in place to tell us what's wrong and what's right. A government (well we don't have one atm, hung parliament and all) to make major decisions for the country. Somehow we are in debt by about 76 billion pounds. I mean that money didn't even exist in the first place. All the interest you get in a bank is invisible money, they don't actually sit there and add a penny every like five months. My mum used to work in a bank and transfer a million pounds to her account, laugh, then transfer it to the right account. Yeah, don't trust banks. The point is, there all the money is invisible, so we are in debt for 76 billion invisible pounds. Therefore people's job are being cut and they will not receive any real money so the government can save up on its invisible money. Fuck sake the system is a mess.

The education system. Don't even get me started. But think about it like this. When you go out and you are older and meet someone they first question they will ask is, "So what do you do for a living." Stop. Think. Because if you reply, "I'm kitchen staff." They will turn and run. But if you reply, "I'm a lawyer/doctor/brain surgeon/rocket scientist" You will literally see the dollar signs form in their eyes and the "ka-ching" noise in their head. Money is power, don't deny it. But the only way to reach this status is to go through a decent education system and also you need to have a decent brain. Brains help. Once you have reached that status through years of turmoil in a learning institution you will earn money, yay. But you will still be unnamed. Meh I want to be named. What does a GCSE actually mean? An A-level? A degree? I'm good at remembering things. Is that it? I can remember facts. Although I'm a cynic some of these facts will help further human life, you know like curing diseases, better technology, etc. I'm just saying this because exam season is coming up and I cannot be fucked.

And here come the ultimate form of conformism...chav's, emo's, scene's, gangsta's, nerd's etc. It's a tribe thing I swear, I know we all orginated from Africa but jeeeeeeeeez. I went to Loughton for like the fifth time in my life and everyone was wearing Ugg boots, jeggings and a ton of fake tan. I go to Bromley and everyone has a dyed fringe they can't see out of, eyeliner and skinny jeans. Why? Is it the environment you live in has an affect on which tribe you belong to? Or do you move to where your tribe is the majority? Where I live I really should be wearing baggy pants and be in a gang. It really shouldn't be where you live or how you look that defines you, but as is the pressure of modern society thats just how things are done. Some styles are dangerously close though. Some emo's fake tan and wear jeggings, baggy jumper, all that's different is the hair and music choice...but me? I'm not part of a tribe.

I'm out on my own
