Hey y'all! First blog of the decade wahey!
New Years Eve was a bit of a mishmash. See, I wanted to go to my friends house but I only found out I could go by about one pm by which time mother had booked a table at a restaurant. I was good though...ow I just poked myself in the eye
*2 mins later*
Anyway! My Dad started saying he was so generous he was like the Pope, then when The YMCA came on he proceeded to do the Y as an X and exclaimed loudly, "You can't make and A by yourself! Come here and make an A!" Then he sent me a text along the lines of, "Yeai iaxqy new ydr." I asked him what it meant and he said he was in a rush trying to say Happy New Year. What a plonker. I was crying with laughter for ten minutes after.
So the next day was...New Years Day! I had been dragged into going to an Irish walk with Dot Com. I arrived there at around 9.30 and the whole house was in a panic. So we left at around 10 which is the time we were supposed to meet the other Irish people. Of course, we were in a hurry but the road was very icy ... we really couldn't have stopped what happened next. There was a corner and instead of turning round it we accelerated quickly towards the backend of an already mashed up car. We climbed out unphased and I turned to see a woman muttering, "that's the third one."
*Gets distracted by Ed Hardy bags and Kurt Geiger shoes...buys a pair of shoes*
Oh yeah where was I? Basically we stood around for four hours and I really needed to pee. We stood well away from the road just in case another car decided to come along and crash. Eventually the AA guy came along to pull the car out from the middle of the road but he came from the wrong direction, so he made a U-turn and drove straight over an island and we all then decided we did not want to get in his truck on the way home. Thankfully, we didn't have to. Then the police arrived with the ambulance and while the grown ups dealt with the boring stuff we sat in the car and then we got...FOIL. I know it sounds like...wtf foil? But it was special foil! Gold and the outside and silver on the inside...you could see out of the foil...but noone can see inside. Apparently it's supposed to help if your in shock. I just foundit hilarious when Dot Com's brother started making random girly voices...he's like 17.
So we got back but the Irishers still wanted to go for the walk but we just said, "If we sit here and pretend to be all comfortable and tired they won't take us." But they did. Plan failed.
*Looks at Ed Hardy bags*
Then we just spent the rest of the day working...i mean walking. Hooray.
Oh gosh that's taken me three days to write, I get distracted so easily and I'm supposed to be revising for French Mocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
