I love this film I highly recommend it. I've literally just finished watching it. It's not a sad film but I cried for some of the songs because to me they are stunningly beautiful and Jean-Baptiste Maunier (who plays Pierre Morhange) is gorgeous. It's a french film (le duh) but there's subtitles for all you non-linguists out there. It's about a man called Clement Mathieu who arrives at a school for difficult children and the way he disciplines them is by using his choir. It's just a lovely film 9.9/10. I just wanted the ending to be happier is all otherwise I wold have given it 10! Well it is happy but I was still crying. Aww what the heck 10/10!
